Where can I buy a ticket?
- The easiest place to buy tickets for this event is simply online via the Buy Now button above.
You may
download a reservation form from this website. Mail reservation forms to “Clayton Gardens Tour, P.O. Box 94, Clayton, CA 94517.” (Please, no children under 12. Babies in a front pack or back pack are allowed at no charge.)
How much does the ticket cost?
Each ticket is $25 per person if purchased in advance or $30 per person at the door.
Why don’t I get an actual ticket in advance?
The brochure you receive at will-call at the Museum the day of the tour is your ticket.
What are the transportation arrangements?
The tour is self-guided. You will receive a map at the museum the day of the tour when you pick up your brochure. There are yellow signs with green arrows directing you to the gardens. All of the gardens are usually within a 1-5 mile radius of the Museum.
If it rains, do I get a refund?
Are there restroom facilities available?
Restrooms are available in Clayton’s new park, The Grove, which is across the street from the Museum.
What’s the deal with these items for sale?
Companies and individuals have donated unique items to the Society which are on display at the Museum on Gardens Tour days. Write your name and telephone number on the back of each ticket you purchase and put the ticket in the bag representing the prize you are interested in winning. (You may want to bring pre-printed address labels to place on your tickets.) Drawing winners will be notified by shortly after the event. Prizes must be claimed at the Museum within one week.
Where can I eat lunch or dinner in Clayton
Within Clayton’s city limits are Ed’s Mudville Grill, LaVeranda Café, Moresi's Chophouse, Skipolini's Pizza, Johnny's International Deli, Cup o' Joe, Subway, Canesa's Brooklyn Deli, Country Waffles, Sweet Bakery, JJ’s Hawaiian BBQ, Casa Gourmet Burritos or you can get a deli sandwich at Safeway and eat in The Grove, Clayton’s downtown city park.
